Gurgaon comes alive with the presence of Bollywood stars at PVR,

A press conference of the film “Aladin” at PVR Premier at Ambience Mall in Gurgaon was attended by the entire cast and crew of the movie, which slated for release on October 30, 2009.
Amitabh Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh and debutante actress Jacqueline Fernandez answered of the questions related with the movie. ALADIN is been directed by the young director Sujoy Ghosh of Jhankaar Beats fame. The film also casts Sanjay Dutt, Juhi Chawla and Sameera Reddy in pivotal roles.
Speaking about the movie, Big B, Amitabh Bachchan describes Aladin as a fantasy movie, a revamped version of the Arabian Nights, where he dons the role of ‘Genius’ the genie who steps out of a magic lamp to grant three wishes to Aladin, played by Riteish Deshmukh. Jacqueline Fernandez, who plays the Princess Jasmine, gives him a magic lamp- that lets loose the genie. Sanjay Dutt is cast as the villainous Ring Master.
The Big B appreciates the initialed taken by the organizers at PVR. He hoped that Aladin will entertain the youngsters and adults alike and that more and more people will watch movies at the theatres instead of watching them on pirated CD/DVDs.
Riteish Deshmukh is leaving no stone unturned to promote his film Aladin. He has been sporting T-shirts with an ‘A’ embroidered on them akin to the red sweater that he wears throughout in Aladin. This is his way of showing enthusiasm and promoting the film. Hopefully, the next step for the actor will be donning the Aladdin pants and the bare-chested look for all promotional events. That’s sure to generate good publicity

Being scared of acting, the debutant Jacqueline Fernandez says, ”When I was offered this movie, I was scared. But today I realize that I could not have had a better choice than ‘Aladdin’. It turned into a lot of excitement and experience. ‘I took a lot of dance classes. And, I still take my Hindi diction classes”.
Being a debutant, she has indeed learnt some lessons also. ”To be honest, there were people who were skeptical about me and gave me all those warnings but I have learnt that you should have passion about what you do. Then, nothing can be negative and you can have no bad experiences,” asserts Fernandez.
The spokesperson of PVR Cinemas, Mr. Gautam Dutta – CEO Cine media stated, “We are happy to host such promotional activities. PVR is a pioneer and a trailblazer in Multiplex development in India, and is the largest cinema exhibition player in the country today. We welcome the cast of Aladin and wish them good luck for their film.”

PVR began its commercial operations in June 1997 with the launch of PVR Anupam in Saket, India’s first multiplex. By introducing the multiplex concept in the country PVR Cinemas brought in a whole new paradigm shift to cinema viewing experience, high class seating, state of the art screens and audio visual systems.
