Ek Nirajan is the latest movie from the Adityaram movie banner. It is a family action drama film with wholesome entertainment from the director Puri Jagan who has handled story and screenplay too. It is produced by Aditya ram. It has music by Mani Sharma, cinematography by Shyam K Naidu and editing by MR Varma.

Story: Revolves around like this Chotu enacted by Prabhas is born to a poor parents. A beggar’s mafia kidnaps Chotu to make him a beggar. Chotu grows up as an adult and does the job of informer to the police. He calls himself as ‘bounty hunter’. His main duty is to trap the criminals on behalf of police and earn some money from the police for doing their duty. He falls in deep love with a guitar music teacher Sameera enacted by Kangana Raunat and accidentally her brother happens to be a mafia whom Chotu is given the task to nab. Johnny enacted by Sonu Sood is a mafia kingpin in the town. The rest of the story and climax is all about what happens when Johnny meets Chotu and when Chotu has many responsibilities of apprehending and saving the her brother.

Prabhas’s characterization in this film is an extension of his role in Puri Jagan’s Bujjigadu – made in Chennai. Prabhas is really adorable with his appealing mass language with godavari dialect. He is naturally charming with his carefree demeanor in the movie. Kangana Raunat who looked really fabulous in the Hindi movies such as Gangster and Fashion. She seemed totally out of place in this Telugu movie. She is just average in this movie. Sonu Sood played the role of a sadistic villain and entertains us with funny dialogues in this movie and walks away with honors, a big thanks to terrific characterization by Puri Jagan.

Brahmaji also did another terrific role in this film after his cameo in Athadu movie. The scene which brings in the pair of Sonu Sood and Brahmaji is much hilarious. The comedy by Brahmanandam’s in not up to the mark. Ali is totally wasted as a magician in ‘Jack Sparrow’ role. The character of Venu Madhav and Sunil are partly entertaining. As a homourous cunning politician, Posani Krishna Murali provides humour support too. Mukul Dev and Tanikella Bharani are adequate fit in their respective role in the movie. In simple language, it is a story of a son in search of his lost parents.

The movie has music by Mani Sharma which is very good. All the songs are canned well on the screen with good locations. The title song of the movie Ek Niranjan is melodies and excellent.
