“Quick Gun Murugan” is the comedy flick that is running packed house after the recent relaease in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English version all over India and abroad. The leading Telugu comedy hero Rajendra Prasad is doing the main role of a southern cowboy with glamorous star Rambha as the heroine to add the love interest in the movie. Rambha is making her come back in to films after six years, with her `Mango Dolly` role in this film.

Story :

“Quick Gun Murugun”  is one of the most original films to have hit the Indian big screens. It basically revolves around a man (Rajendra Prasad as Murugun), who is so fond of vegetarianism that he takes on warlord (Nasser) for trying to launch non-vegetarian McDosa’s. So from heaven, our southern desi cowboy is sent back to earth after his application is accepted by the gods.
He sees quite a lot of changes around him after returning back to earth after a gap of 25 years. His previous girlfriend (Anu Menon) is no more alive on earth and is now just nagging as ex-girlfriend in his chain locket. The surprising fact in the present age he finds out are new rage called Internet has made it possible to create nude photographs, a Google search engine can reveal the minutest information of anything and anyone.

He realizes with Mango Dolly (Rambha) after coming into his life. Moreover, another fact is MBAs have replaced roadside goondas. However, all these change doesn’t matter for Murugun in dealing with his Quick Gun act in Matrix-style stunts. There are quite a lot of hilarious scenes in the movie. Raju Sundaram too shines in the brief role of a MBA gangster. The main attraction is the scenes featuring Rajendra Prasad with Rambha.
Director – Shashanka Ghosh is a filmmaker who really comes up with many crazy ideas and even crazier execution for a full length comedy movie. This was proved in his debut venture “Waisa Bhi Hota Hai – Part II”. Now with “Quick Gun Murugan”, he has let his creative imagination go even much wilder and made one of the most true blue spoofs to come out of the Indian film industry.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad initial faced hardships while in search of a break in the film industry; he got a role in the film Sneham. During the initial stage of his career he got small roles but within a short span emerged as a very popular comedy actor in the 1980’s and 1990’s.begining from Vamsy’s box office hit movie entitled Ladies Tailor (1985). Then acted in more than 200 Telugu movies and few Tamil movies in his 26 years film carrier. He is popularly called by his fan and movie lovers as the King of Comedy, Divine Comedian, Natakireeti, Rastra Hasyapathi, Millennium Family Hero and Andhra Charlie Chaplin. He also fetched to his credit Nandi Award For Best Actor for Erra Mandaram in 1991 and for Aa Naluguru in 2004. He also won the Filmfare award for best supporting actor 2004 for Aa Naluguru.   The present movie “Quick Gun Murugan” is making waves in the film circuit and among the fans.
